8-steak Patties; 2- lb finely chopped meat ( hamburger) 1 egg 1/2 cup bread crumbs 1/4 cup catsup 1 teaspoon marjoram dash of nutmeg, or if desired leave nutmeg out, you  may choose to add 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder, 2 Tablespoon shredded onion 1 teaspoon salt 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon pepper   Combine well and form into patties that are @ 4'”x6” and place in rectangular pan, makes 8 steaks. In sauce pan prepare gravy for poaching steaks in oven at 350 degrees.   Gravy: 1/3 cup butter, melt in saucepan add 1/4 cup flour and salt and pepper adding 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder and slowly, lightly toast the flour and butter mixture, making a rue. Then add 1 cup of milk, slowly while whisking and when gravy thickens pour over unbaked steaks. Bake till done usually 40 minutes or so.   Remove steaks, serve gravy in separate dish. You may want to re-blend your gravy and strain some of the meat fat out, but the flavor is supreme and you will enjoy this dish   Good with mashed potatoes but roasted sweet potatoes would delicious, or rice as well
